Colors and their effect on our psyche, today pink and white

 

We continue presenting the qualities of the best known colors with their general characteristic features as well as taking a look at their meaning for fashion and the interior design. Today it’s the turn of the colors Pink/Rose and White.

PINK/ROSE

is a soft color which provides joy as blossoms in nature. Pink embodies idealism, order and sympathy, but creates also feelings of snobbery and dominance. Pink-colored clothes look very expressive, as rose variation, however, innocently. Rose is according to experts the best color for bedrooms because it calms and diminishes aggressions.

WHITE
is a symbol of the chastity, clarity and innocence. At the same time the color of ice and snow can also be understood as aloofness. In our culture there is, actually, no negative meaning of the white color, nevertheless, in China white is the color of grief and death. Completely dressed in white one looks elegant, but also unapproachable. In rooms white is ideal for color combinations. It neutralizes, lightens up and has a stimulating effect.
